Recent Training-Related AWIPS Build Changes

Build 23.4.2 has started deployment in April 2025 and is expected to conclude in June 2025. This build is mainly an infrastructure build, and no training is being released with the initial deployment. New dynamic radar cross sections are in development and are included in this build to replace the Four-Dimensional Stormcell Investigator (FSI), but they are not ready for operations yet. Training will be released on the new cross sections when they are considered operational. For a dynamic searchable table for all builds check out the AWIPS Builds Table (new).
