Welcome to the GFE Focal Point Curriculum Page!

This curriculum is for all GFE Focal Points to go through to have a thorough understanding of all the different components of GFE. It provides detailed information on the structure of GFE and how all of the files interact to make GFE function. This curriculum is intended to be a reference for GFE Focal Points to come back to, to review the concepts and information that are covered. It is composed of a series of web pages with embedded job sheets that are used to practice fundamental skills on a live AWIPS. This curriculum uses a similar structure and format to the AWIPS Fundamentals training content/reference.
