Purpose:
This task demonstrates how to load the FFMP Basin Table in the D-2D perspective in preparation for using the GUI. Besides this simple task description, several other sample tasks can be performed on your office’s WES-2 Bridge workstation in the WES Exercise #7 on your local WES machine.Tasks:
- From the SCAN Menu in the D2D perspective of CAVE, select FFMP xxxx Table/Basins DHR Display for a particular radar under the xxxx radar name submenu.
- Note if you are doing this on a live AWIPS and you don’t have any precipitation occurring, your basin table can come up blank. If the table comes up blank, you can left-click on the NAME column header to sort by name, and you should see some entries in the table.
- You can increase the frame count with FFMP, but it uses a lot of resources, so limited frame counts are advised.
- The FFMP Table should launch as a single Frame of 1 with accumulations for the DHR precip source for that radar.
- Task Complete!
