Create an Image Combination and Toggle Between the Images

Purpose:

This task demonstrates how to create a combination of two product images and the ability to toggle and fade between the two images.

Tasks:

Assumptions:

  • You will need to have a frame count of more than one.
  1. From one of your dedicated radar menus, select the xxxx Z, then select 0.5 Z best res.
  2. Toggle on the Image Combination using one of the following methods:
    1. Method 1: Left-click on the Toggle Image Combination button in the toolbar.
    2. Method 2: Use the keyboard shortcut <Insert>.
    3. Method 3: From the Options menu, select Image Combination.                                                  Image Combination menu option
  3. From one of your dedicated radar menus, select the xxxx V, then select 0.5 V best res.
  4. When you combine the second product (0.5 Vel) with the first product (0.5 Refl), both images will appear, each with a 50% brightness. In the product legend, the combined images appear under one line with the two products separated by a plus sign (“+”).
  5. Toggle between the two combined images using one of the following methods:
    1. Method 1: Use the period key (“ . ”) on the keypad on the right-hand side of the keyboard.
      • This method will only show one product at a time at 100% brightness.
    2. Method 2: Use the “ + ” and “ - ” keys on the keypad on the right-hand side of the keyboard.
      • This method will toggle between the two images by incrementally brightening one image while dimming the other. Therefore, this method will allow to view both products on the screen simultaneously.
    3. Method 3: Left-click on the product name in the Product Legend for the product you want to toggle off.
