The Dissemination Systems Team (DST) is responsible for conceiving, designing, implementing, and managing telecommunications systems required for disseminating meteorological and hydrological data, reports, information, and weather warnings to the public, public safety agencies, and the mass news media through Governmental and public telecommunications systems. A few of those systems include NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) program, NOAA Weather Wire Service (NWWS), the International Services Communications Systems (ISCS), the Emergency Managers Weather Information Network (EMWIN), and the HazCollect/HazCollect Extended Services. The DST represents NWS at international, national, state and local levels and coordinates NWS dissemination activities within NWS and other Federal agencies.
