I’m working on setting up the input files for a data set using the new 3.30.10 helper files. I’m not sure because I’m new to SS but I think the following corrections might (?) be needed to helper files to read in correctly. This is based on me reading in my data files, then seeing where it crashes in the echoinput file. And also comparing to the 3.30.10 user guide.
Data file:
- Missing 7th item in vector for age tail compression (min samp size)
- Unlike the helper file, it seems to only successfully read the age composition if I omit Nageobs line above matrix and add -9999 at the end after the data.
Control file:
- SR parms still have old order and number of elements (e.g 13 instead of 14, Prior type and SD switched).
- I think it might need two lines between SR type and parms:
- # 0/1 to use steepness in initial equ recruitment calculation
- # future feature: 0/1 to make realized sigmaR a function of SR curvature
