The Office of Observations (OBS) serves as the primary office responsible for the collection of space, atmosphere, water, and climate observational data owned or leveraged by the National Weather Service.  OBS is responsible for the collection of space, atmosphere, water, and climate observational data owned or leveraged by the NWS.
