AWIPS software support

As a reminder, although the National Weather Service provides the AWIPS source code, binaries, scripts, and documentation for each major release, we are unable to provide support for the installation or usage of AWIPS.  Please see the official statement below.

The AWIPS baseline software (source code, binaries, scripts) and documentation are provided under the umbrella of previous FOIA requests.  The content is updated with each major AWIPS release, and is provided for the general public to download and use as they see fit.  The AWIPS software and documentation is provided "as is", and the National Weather Service (NWS) does not offer any support for its installation, configuration, or usage.  The AWIPS Technical Library (https://vlab.noaa.gov/web/awips-technical-library) contains forums which may be used to communicate with other AWIPS users outside of the NWS.
