Hi SS3 team,

I found the the  SS_writedat(version = "3.30") appears to generate a termination line for tag release and recapture input  as below:

-9999    0    0        0.00000    0.00    #_terminator

which I think is not supposed to.

Maybe a bug?

Thank you for reporting this - it is indeed a bug! I just pushed a commit to the r4ss development branch to fix this - would you mind checking if the issue is fixed by 1) re-downloading r4ss by restarting your R session, using remotes::install_github("r4ss/r4ss@development") to install and 2) trying r4ss::SS_writedat again?
