IMPORTANT: Effective 12/5/14 new URL for the AWIPS Technical Library

The NWS Virtual Lab, which hosts the AWIPS Technical Library, has migrated to a new host as of 12/5/14. The URL HAS CHANGED.

The new location for the AWIPS Technical Library is:

https://vlab.noaa.gov/web/awips-technical-library/home

The old URL (at nws.weather.gov/innovate) will automatically redirect you to the new URL. Please update your bookmarks -- this automatic redirection is only expected to be in effect for approximately one month.

The new location offers improvements to the site, as well as much better rendering on mobile phones and tablets.

If you have any questions about the migration or notice any issues post-migration, please raise them in the Forum section of the AWIPS Technical Library community.

Download Guide?

I know the NWS won't respond with install directions if you contact them, but is there any plan to at least provide a install guide in the future? Right now it's nearly impossibly to download...

Missing Dependencies

for any reasons i put ./ade_quick_install.sh, it fails and lists all of the missing dependencies that was required.
