I noticed a significant memory leak in GFE in version 18.1.1. I know it's not the latest version, but we haven't had the chance to upgrade to v19.2.1. Has anyone noticed this in v18.1.1 or 19.2.1? If you use GFE long enough you'll run out of Java heap memory, regardless of how much memory is allocated in the Java settings in the .ini files. CAVE/GFE will not crash, but you have to (1) change to a different weather element group, (2) run garbage collection by clicking the trash icon, and then (3) changing back to the original weather element group. The Java GC settings don't seem to have much affect on preventing the memory leak.

When GFE runs out of Java heap memory, there will be a paint error and the map background will be empty. GFE becomes unusable until you clear the memory, using the instructions in my first paragraph.
