For my course project, I would like to explore how oceanographic features (e.g., eddy kinetic energy, chlorophyll-a concentrations, sea surface temperature) might influence the migratory patterns of salmon sharks. I have over 2 years of almost daily locations for a male salmon shark that was tagged in the northern Bering Sea in September 2019. For this course, I will use the tracks from one shark though I hope to apply what I learn to my other tagged sharks.
