Hi, In Quiz 2, there was a question about the history of SST record (The continuous record of SST data dates back to). I got it wrong and the correct answer was supposed to be 1981 according to the feedback. In the SST presentation video, about 6:18 into it, the table shows that AVHRR started in 1978 using IR. Is that a typo? Thank you!

Wow - you are sharp!  The current dataset of consistently processed  SST data goes back to 1981, even though the it's true that AVHRR measurements of it go back to 1978.  I don't know of any SST dataset that goes back before 1981, so for practical purposes that it when the continuous data starts.
