I had fun playing with some different projections working with Antarctic data. To make sure I wasn't missing anything - you can't zoom in in Panoply with a lot of the projections, correct?

Hi Sam -

Glad you had fun with the assignment!  You can zoom in with Panoply.  Come to office hours today and we will walk you through it - its not all that obvious how to do it.

Sam, Can you tell me which projection that would not zoom in?

Hi Dale. A couple that I was having issues with were Cylindrical Equal Area and Mollweide (Oblique). They don't seem to have a parameter, ~equivalent to the 'Edge Angle' of Stereographic, that would let me zoom in even by hand.

Thanks. It is good to know that some projections will not zoom.
