I couldn't figure out how to "shrink" the E-W direction in Panoply plotting.

If you go into the map tab in Panopoly you should be able to adjust the range og=f longitude values. Come to the office hours if you need help with this.

Thanks Cara. It doesn't seem like mine has that option. I attach a screenshot. I use Pop!_Os linux (20.10, Gnome version 3.38.3, if that makes any difference...). I couldn't make it to the office hour.

Also toggle the labels on if you want to see the labels on the grid lines (option on the right hand side of the screen)

I was using Lambert Conformal Conic. I read somewhere that it was good for mid latitudes.
