WSUP Viewer v6.3 Release

WSUP Viewer v6.3 was released on 7/17/2023. Please see release notes below.

 

New Features:

  • Map Display:

    • Quick Comparison Toggle Keys to switch between related elements, datasets, and associated deltas. A new keyboard icon on the right sidebar menu shows what they are.

    • Component/member pie plot histograms of distribution for station under cursor

    • NBM v4.2 PSpeed includes probabilities of exceeding 7 and 30 knots and NBM v4.2 PGust includes probabilities of exceeding 17 and 30 knots

    • Options to change label size, line thickness, smoothness, and density of contours

    • Option to overlay contours for related elements

    • Increased number of zoom levels

    • Weather In Context ThreadEx record data for 2022 with support for Guam, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico stations

    • Display has been restored

  • Point Vis:

Bug Fixes:

  • Map Display:

    • Data from synoptic NDFD cycles are only shown for Day 4-7 projections
