The example Timeline to the right is for the VLab project itself.
Although constructing a Timeline is more complex than some of the other, more simple portlets available in VLab, it provides a slick, modern, and appealing way to present timestamped data and events. You can associate media files (image and video) to each event, though such media files are not required.

What is Tag Navigation?
Tag Navigation presents all of the tags that are associated to content in your community in a list or cloud format. When a tag name is clicked, a separate Asset Publisher portlet (which is required) will list the resources that have been tagged with the tag clicked.
What is it good for?
Tag Navigation is useful when your community has a good amount of content (such as documents, web content, wiki, blog, etc) and you want an easy way for users to see the content in a categorized (aka "tagified") way.
How Do I Use It?
Place a Tag Navigation portlet or Tag Cloud portlet on the left side of a page and an Asset Publisher portlet on the right side of a page, on a page that has at least 2 columns. Configure the Asset Publisher to trigger off of Tags. (See the Asset Publisher section of the User Guide for details.)
