Abstract:

In this talk we will present the recent development of weeks 2-4 storminess outlooks based on NCEP's Global Ensemble Forecast System (GEFS) and Climate Forecast System (CFS). The outlooks include storm track density, duration, intensity, sea level pressure variance and associated precipitation and surface winds over North Pacific, North America and North Atlantic.
