Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Lecture Series

VLab Forum Members,

I'd like announce a new lecture series focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).  These talks will be given by Dr. Paul Roebber of the University of Wisconsin and provide background on the application of techniques in AI/ML within the context of weather forecasting.  You can find a list of presentation dates and topics on the following VLab page.

Lecture Schedule

The page above has links to register for each talk and to add the meeting to your calendar.  Be sure to do so today because the first talk in February will be here before you know it.

If you know of others who would be interested in AI and ML, please don't hesitate to share this announcement to them.

I noted that the email below was sent to nws.ost.mdl.contractors.noaa.gov, but that member list doesn't include Dr. Valerie Were, a CIRA staff member at the MDL since August 16 of this year.  Dr. Were's email address is valerie.l.were@noaa.gov.  Please add her to the member list of nws.ost.mdl.contractors.noaa.gov.
