ForecastBuilder Blog resuming

After a long break, the blog for ForecastBuilder is resuming.  To kick this off, so everyone is aware ForecastBuilder Version 10 was released on September 30th.  Please see the ForecastBuilder documentation link for full information on the release and how to install/update.  The biggest part of this release was a new workflow to utilizing NBM Probability of Weather Type grids, which is the most effective precipitation type approach for reflecting uncertainty on the environment. The workflow combines recent efforts in CR and SR.  More training resources are coming on the new workflow, so stay tuned here!  Also there were more GUI changes that started with V9, such as an expandable toolbar and restoring auto-run functionality.   Looking ahead, expect smaller updates for items mainly behind the scenes, after the big updates of GUI changes, tropical and NBM PoWT that have dominated the past few releases.  As always - any questions please feel free to ask via blog post on this site or e-mail nws.forecastbuilder@noaa.gov
