Hazard Builder questions - Forum - CR SOO

After watching today's webinar I have a few questions about HazardBuilder.

1. First and foremost, can the team provide a vision and purpose for HazardBuilder? Is this something you envision being used for a briefing? To be used at the beginning of the shift? End? Mainly for long-range? Mor e of an external tool to replace the EHWO? As a forecaster, it seems kind of silly for a tool to tell me that there's a frost risk because my grids are below freezing - I just created the forecast, checked the output, wrote the AFD... I'm aware of the short-term hazards. Now something with intelligence (climo considerations) like the WSSI I think there is utility for forecasters, but otherwise color-coded chiclets don't do much use for me personally, which leads to my next question.
2. What's going into each HazardBuilder grid? I don't mean to sound rude but without any sort of idea of the inputs how I can I know what the colors even mean? Could we please get clear and consistent documentation?
3. How does HB fit in with the EHWO stuff and WSSI work?
4. Do we have to look at the HB grids at the end of the FB MergeWx process? Could there be an option to not run it at the end of the process? There are days when I might run FB a dozen times to get Wx grids where I want them, so it gets annoying to wait for HB to run each time.
