It's a relatively new dataset that hasn't been around long enough to be fully vetted in the polar regions so is labeled experimental.

If you are interested in SAR data, we can point you to that within CoastWatch.

You are probably already using these online viewers, let us know if you see data of interest and we may have it too:

If you aren't tapped into the National Ice Center and their operational support let me know.  We can request custom updates from their analysts for your vehicle path(s) for the length of your surveys.

We are working on integrating some of the NIC products into PolarWatch - the IMS is first then we are planning to integrate the marginal ice zone data and iceberg database.
