OB18.1.1 Available & Important Announcement

Greetings! OB18.1.1 binaries, source code, and documentation have been posted to the AWIPS Technical Library. The previous version, OB17.3.1, remains on the download site.

OB18.1.1 Thin Client has also been posted. There were compatibility issues with Thin Client in the past several AWIPS releases, so this is the first AWIPS Thin Client posted in some time. The OB18.1.1 version of Thin Client is compatible with AWIPS OB18.1.1 and (when available) OB18.2.1 and OB19.1.1.

PLEASE NOTE: Effective Friday November 30 2018, the old "collaborate2" download portal, where AWIPS releases have been posted, will no longer be available. The "AWIPS II Software Download" link has already been updated to point to the new download portal. If you have any direct bookmarks to the collaborate2 site, please change them to:

Download Guide?

I know the NWS won't respond with install directions if you contact them, but is there any plan to at least provide a install guide in the future? Right now it's nearly impossibly to download...

Missing Dependencies

for any reasons i put ./ade_quick_install.sh, it fails and lists all of the missing dependencies that was required.
