I am having a hard time finding 24 hour QPE files further back than March 2023 in the AWS open data.  It seems like there was a re-run of this dataset and it didn't finish.

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for reaching out.  The NODD archive was initially started in March 2023 as an unofficial archive.  The more recent URMA data in the NODD AWS buckets are pulled from NOMADS, which outputs all of the URMA data in a single directory.  Prior data is pulled from the NCEP tape archive, which archives the precip data separately.  We are hopeful that the prior precipitation data can eventually be backfilled, as well.

What period of time are you interested in?  We may be able to help retrieve the desired data if the period is no more than several weeks or so.

Thanks,
Matt
