MT Mesonet Stations not getting into URMA

There are a number of fairly new automated stations (and more coming) installed by the Montana Climate Office that are getting into awips and mesowest (thus MADIS I believe), but not yet in URMA. Those stations really help to fill some holes in our cwa. Can they be added or is there a reason they aren't? Thanks for your help. I am including a list of stations in our cwa below, but there are many more across the state.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for your email.  We are looking into why these observations aren't being assimilated in RTMA/URMA, and will let you know once we learn more.

Hi Joe,

The observations from the Montana Climate Office (MCO) are now arriving at NCEP via the MesoWest data feed and are being used in RTMA/URMA as of ~21Z Tuesday, October 19th.  However, the observations are occasionally late-arriving and, thus, only used in URMA.  The MCO observations were being used in URMA earlier this year (e.g., on January 26th), so the source of the recent issues is unclear.  Nonetheless, we will monitor the URMA output for the next several days to verify that these observations continue being used.

Thanks,
Matt
