[Resend] OPNL NBM readouts in WSUP and dModel/dt views

Resend, via email (bugs.wsup.vlab@noaa.gov), to see if images come across (they’re viewable in VLAB space)

I was perusing the WSUP to explore forecast MinT value for KDFW for Thurs Feb 20, 2025. The record MinT=19. The current NBM NBP text product shows a forecast=18--a record, as well as a 17 for its 50th percentile.

Looking at the NBE text product, I see a MinT=23, which matches the view in the WSUP Point Visualization.

What I am not understanding is why, in the dModel/dt view, using the 18Z Thu Feb 20th end time to view the MinT, the latest OPNL value is showing MinT=28 for the 07UTC NBM run?  Where is that value coming from?  I can only guess it's not the KDFW value from the NBP or NBE product?

Thanks for the report, Jack.

We're looking into it and will get back to you as soon as we know more.

Jack,

Thanks for catching this!

I think I found the issue and hoping to get a fix in tomorrow or perhaps Monday (I'm not off).

Just to note, the issue is the start date of the display is being set incorrectly for maxt and mint when in dProg/dt mode.  The start date for your example of the issue is actually Feb 12, 07Z instead of Feb 13, 07Z.  If you move the mouse a little so the date shows up on hover as well, you'd see this:

If you get out of dProg/dt mode and set the date to the Feb 12, 07Z and hover over Feb 20, 18Z forecast, you'll see the 28 forecast value there.

Anyway, hopefully get a fix in tomorrow or Monday.

Jack,

This should be fixed. Let us know if there's still an issue.
