Stations Ingested into IRIS...

IRIS Team,

I work at WFO Columbia and have noticed some additional sites getting into IRIS. I wanted to inquire about the outside (NOAA/Mesowest/RAWS/CWOP) observations that are able to get into the IRIS system. I have noticed recently that not only are the WeatherSTEM sites getting in IRIS, but also the Earth Networks (under AWS) from a newly added county mesonet and RCWinds (under MESOWEST).

Do you know if it is possible to ingest some additional networks into the system. Another mesonet has been added/increased across our area through the  WeatherFlow - Tempest  site. Here is the address.

It's really nice being able to view all of the data in one location.

Thank you for any help you can provide.
Leonard

Leonard,

Do you know if the Tempest sites are being ingested into MADIS?  Unfortunately, I cannot get to the MADIS web site to check.  Once they are ingested via MADIS it will be easier to get them into IRIS.

Thanks,

Mike,

I am not sure, but I feel like they are not.

How do you get into the MADIS system?

Thank You,
Leonard

Leonard,

I don't know the exact process, but it is somewhat involved.  Sorry that I don't have more information.
