IRIS with Lat/Lon

List,

I was using IRIS during a recent event and I could not find a way to put in a lat/long pair.  Maybe I am missing something but I could not find a place to put in a lat/long pair based on a report we got during an event.  If this is possible can you please point me in the right direction on how to do this.

Thanks,

Phil,

If you go to the Wx Reports/LSR perspective, then the Contact List and Search tab (should be the default that appears), there is a Lat/Lon Search option.  Enter the coordinates for the point in question, then click Search.  The point should appear on the map on the right side of the screen.  You can then right click on that and select Issue and LSR or enter a Weather Report for this location.  That will bring up the Weather Event Editor for that location.

Let me know if this is what you were looking for.

Thanks,

Mike,

That is what I was looking for, thank you so much!  I was trying to do a "Quick Report" under the "All Weather Reports" Tab and didn't think about looking under the Contact List option.  Thank you again!

Phil
