Storm reports deleted - way to get back?

We had approximately 200+ reports that were accidentally removed from the database during an event. We were able to hand enter these reports back in for a later issuance of LSR/PNS. However, the reports that were manually entered were also removed from our database after the later issuance of the LSR/PNS occurred (not accidentally removed by the user who sent out these reports). Is there a way to recover these reports? We attempted to get AWIPS LSRs and retrieve & convert obs to no avail. Looking for suggestions in future events.

In the WxReports/LSRs perspective, have you tried to increase the time in the Filter at the top of the table to cover the time period in question?  What about changing the duration under the Convert IRIS Obs to Weather Reports pull down right below the table?

We attempted to do that to no avail. Still were unable to get the information that was hand entered again.
