Filtering Values in Obs Monitor

In Obs Monitor, our office was unable to "remove all speeds below xx mph" as a precursor to generating a PNS. Looks like this is also the case for temperature and other parameters.  Not sure if this a known issue or if we came across something previously unreported.

I did a quick check. This is related to the issues in the current IRIS version, and will be fixed on Monday with 6.7.3.

Might this issue be related to CAR's inability to generate a PNS from the Obs Monitor as well? Was just about to post in the forum when I saw this.

Hi Anne,

Yes that's also related. PNS can be run from Weather Reports/LSR, but the Obs Monitor is flaky right now.

Anne,

I stand corrected. There is something specific to precipitation in Obs Monitor not fixed in 6.7.3. Workaround is go to Wx Reports/LSR, click on the tab for the table, at the bottom request precipitation and period (ie 24 hrs), and when populated in the table, right click, select all, generate PNS.

Anne,

Good news, I was able to track the issue down to a bad station, which I was able to correct using the find/edit station tool. I corrected it for you and precipitation is working again in
Obs Monitor.
