SR SOOs and DOHs,
In an effort to get as much feedback as possible on the new
FV3-GFS system (now running in parallel), EMC has set up a special
email address as a simple way to provide feedback. The attachment
(single slide) has more details. You can basically send an email
to
fv3gfs-feedback.vlab@noaa.gov
, and the content of your email will automagically appear as a post
in the VLab FV3GFS Evaluation Forum. EMC also recommends that users
either subscribe to the forum OR identify themselves in the text of
the email message.

hello SSD chiefs-
I've attached a slide from a MEG presentation
last week in which we announced the creation of a mailing list
to post FV3GFS feedback directly into the VLab forum. Can you
please share this slide with your SOOs or whomever you think
would want this information? We want to hear feedback from
the field, especially if any oddities in the FV3 output are
observed, and this mailing list makes it easy to do so. It
also serves as a way for us to send relevant FV3GFS
announcements, so we encourage users to subscribe to the forum:
