In this lesson we'll discuss image combination and product toggle. Let's start off by loading a radar base reflectivity product on the WFO scale. So let's make sure we're on the WFO scale. And go up to the kcri menu. And then go down to kcri z, and then over and up to 0.5 z best res. Now we want to click on the toggle image combination icon. And to find that, Just look under the Air in the Upper Air menu And you'll see this icon. Toggle image combination, and click on it. Let's load a base velocity product to create a base reflectivity/base velocity paired product. So, let's go to the kcri menu and let's go down to kcri v. And then over and up to 0.5 v best res. And let's see what happens. The two products appear combined. Now let's use the del key on the numeric side of the keyboard to toggle between the two products. So let's go, click. Reflectivity. And press the del key one more time, velocity. Reflectivity, velocity. Alternatively, we can use the + and - keys on that same numeric side of the keyboard to fade from one product to the other while maintaining an overlap for spatial reference. So let's try the + key. Or the - key. Yup, let's try the - key to go from velocity to reflectivity. So as you see, we still have that mesocyclone and we can also see the reflectivity core. So if we go all the way, now this is pure reflectivity. Now if we use the + key we can go to pure velocity. There's a third way. And that third way is left clicking on the product you want to hide with the mouse, so that the other product in the product pair, will appear. So we see that currently we have velocity. If we want to get to reflectivity we are just gonna go to the velocity product in the product legend and click on it with the left click of the mouse. Let's try that, there we go. Now we have reflectivity. To go back to velocity, we can left click on reflectivity with the mouse. And go back to velocity. So there you have it. We learned how to use the toggle image combination icon. to combine two products to create a product pair. And then we learned three ways to toggle between the paired products.
