Issues using WSUP Viewer/Delta options for PoP12 comparison

I'm not seeing any NBM v4.x PoP12 field, such that the Delta/Viewer comparisons to NDFD will not work. I'm only seeing NBM has 'QMD PoP12' fields.

 

Given prior issues in adding images here, I've made a document to further detail some of the issues/questions/feedback we may come across while taking a deeper dive into being able to use this interface for a "grids at a glance" quick look tool, that our SR managers have asked for as part of optimizing gridded forecast operations.

Also, it seems WSUP is very sluggish today?  Is there any place to generally view WSUP "health?"

Apologies, after further review, it appears I was using the Oceanic domain view, for previously looking at GEFS output, and that limited/altered the fields.

Yep! You found why PoP12 wasn't in your menu. 

As to the health question, we don't have a centralized location to check the health of WSUP. I haven't seen any issues with production as of this morning. 

The most common issues with WSUP being sluggish is a result of a slower interconnection. Are you on a VPN?

Thanks Dana.  Yes, I'm on VPN for working from home today. 

WSUP just 'logged me out' and suggested a refresh, which it did.

Any movement on adding NWS regions to the Domain choices; maybe as part of some v5.x timeline that might be out there?

NWS regions will be added to the Domain dropdown in the next release.
