I just entered a new contact into IRIS and the elevation was not returned from a valid address and associated lat/lon. Does anyone else see this? Just wondering if it is a problem with IRIS or the service that IRIS uses to get the elevation.

I have seen this intermittently at DLH in the past week or so. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not. -Joe On Fri, Mar 3, 2023 at 5:35 AM Mike Sutton <VLab.Notifications@noaa.gov> wrote: Eric, Ticket 113338 has been opened on this issue. Well, looks like the root of the issue: This application was retired on March 1st, 2023. Please update your bookmarks, the latest version of EPQS can be found here: https://apps.nationalmap.gov/epqs/ --with accompanying API documentation here: https://epqs.nationalmap.gov/v1/docs.The new version queries an updated elevation data source. For additional information, please email the National Map Help Desk at tnm_help@usgs.gov. I'll need to update the link in IRIS. We're handing off a new build at the end of the month. IRIS Team, This issue appears to be back. Additions and updates aren't rendering the Elevation (ft): field when updating addresses in the Contacts perspective.
