Erroneous Data Only Appearing After a PNS is Sent

Hi all,

We recently sent out a PNS for high temperatures for today. WE had an erroneous high temperature that made it into our report.

However, the report did not appear anywhere in our obs database and we did not select the report in the All Weather Reports table when issuing the PNS. The report only showed up AFTER the PNS was sent.

I was wondering if there is anything that would cause reports that are not selected in the All Weather Reports table to then appear in a PNS? 

I attached screenshots of the data.

Can you give me more specifics on the erroneous report?  I don't see it in the attachment.

Hi Mike, sorry for the delayed response.

The erroneous data was a high temperature of 88F that made it into the final PNS despite not appearing in either Obs monitor or in the Weather Reports table. 

Thus it was not possible to discard the report while performing QC on the data.
