Good afternoon--In an effort to consolidate the methods in which we communicate changes to operating status, we would like to know if instead of receiving an email for failovers or outages of the IRIS application if an Administrative Messages from the SDM would be sufficient as it aligns more directly with the standard operating procedure of our monitoring branch. ADMs are visible in most ROC Slack channels and get wide distro among field offices. This would be the preferred mechanism IMO. ADM is best. Most sites can push their own txt or email from awips text products if they want that.
