Data call

Good afternoon--
In an effort to consolidate the methods in which we communicate changes to operating status, we would like to know if instead of receiving an email for failovers or outages of the IRIS application if an Administrative Messages from the SDM would be sufficient as it aligns more directly with the standard operating procedure of our monitoring branch. Please provide your feedback by November 8th.

An ADM might raise the issue to a more appropriate level of awareness since it's the primary way to disseminate LSRs at this point in time.

ADMs are visible in most ROC Slack channels and get wide distro among field offices. This would be the preferred mechanism IMO.

I support consolidating these into an ADM.

Thanks,
Matt

An ADM would be preferable for our WFO. Ensures ops staff gets the notification.

ADM is best. Most sites can push their own txt or email from awips text products if they want that.
