Any local override files that honor local configs when we upgrade versions?

Hello !

 

Are there any local override files that can keep our local configs when we do version updates? At EPZ we like to have the snow level grids, however multiple times after updating to the lates FB version we get reverted to a GUI which doesn't have snow level options.  

 

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
