Noise in MaxRain/MinSnow Elevation grids

We are seeing the MaxRainElevation and MinSnowElevation grids containing some blocky noise. These artifacts to not appear in the parent NBM 10th and 90th percentile grids. As a fix we can either copy the NBM grids back in directly to MaxRain/MinSnow, or run several smoothes on the grids. Is there an error in the way these grids are being created?

Thank you!

What's going on here is the PotSnow values of 15% are likely reaching down lower than the prob snow level would suggest.

Also wanted to add that the MaxRainElev uses the 75th percentile snow level.  There was discussion about utilizing the 90th but investigation from SLC found 75th to be a much better representation for this grid.
