ForecastBuilder V10.1.1 released

Since the ForecastBuilder V10.1 release back on November 10, we have added a few updates over the past two months, now officially wrapped into 10.1.1.  These updates include:

  • Remove light freezing spray from showing up in Wx grid for Great Lake Sites
  • MinApT calculation fix, where in certain situations it was using the maximum wind and minimum temperature over a time period, rather than comparing hourly values
  • Python 3 fixes for cron job script and smoothing - important for HCI sites
  • Fix a bug for Wx Grid creation when utilizing NBM for p-type:  Freezing rain was created from conditional PotFreezingRain grid and not unconditional grid.
  • Fix bug for autorun of extras at the end of ForecastBuilder

FYI - The last two items were checked into latest_stable on Dec 2 and Nov 17, respectively, so many of you likely have these.   The changes only impact ForecastBuilderUtility, including depicting the version number as 10.1.1, so this is a normal and quick install (reference ForecastBuilder documentation for install instructions).

Looking ahead, ForecastBuilder version 10.2 is planned to be released by early February.  A training presentation for forecasters will accompany the 10.2 release.
